Frequently Asked Questions
How much is the deposit, and when is it due?
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is due before the event, as outlined in your agreement.
Are payments refundable if I cancel?
Refunds are limited to unearned fees and unused or refundable expenses. Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event.
Can I reschedule my event?
Yes, you may work with Party with Lina to reschedule if the new date doesn’t overlap with other booked events. Changes must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
What happens if my event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances like weather or natural disasters?
If cancellation is due to an Act of God (fire, flood, earthquake, etc.), you will only be charged for time already spent on planning your event.
What services does Party with Lina provide?
Services include event consultations, budget preparation, vendor coordination, decor planning, floor plans, event supervision, and directing entertainment and announcements during the event.
Am I responsible for vendor contracts?
Clients are responsible for signing vendor agreements unless otherwise agreed. Party with Lina will always obtain written approval before entering any binding contracts.
Can Party with Lina use photos or videos from my event?
Yes. By signing the agreement, you grant permission for Party with Lina to use event photos or videos for promotional purposes, including social media and marketing.
What if something goes wrong at my event?
Party with Lina is not liable for injuries or accidents during the event. Clients agree to indemnify Party with Lina against third-party claims except in cases of negligence by the planner.
Who owns the event designs and decor concepts?
All creative materials and designs remain the property of Party with Lina, but clients receive a non-exclusive license to use event deliverables.
Can I make changes to my contract after signing?
Any modifications or updates must be in writing and signed by both parties to be valid.
